About Me
Jessica is a New Mexico native currently residing in Atlanta. A Texas Tech University graduate, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design with a Minor in Architecture.
Upon completing her schooling, she returned to New Mexico, serving as the first Creative Director of Mesilla Park Community Church. Over the next eight years, she would go on to build the Creative Department from the ground up and had the opportunity to develop a broad skillset and variety of disciplines, including creating standards and procedures for church-wide communications, video production, photography, graphic design, event planning, service production, web design, app management, leadership of the Creative Team, and the design and execution of a complete rebrand/name change.
Jessica also served as the lead Interior Designer for Mesilla Park Community Church and created the masterplan for renovating a 90,000 sq ft Kmart building into a church. She worked with architects and contractors to oversee the completion of Phase 1 and 2 of her design.
In 2019, Jessica accepted the job of Communications Director at West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA, where she leads the Communications Team and collaborates with each ministry to help them achieve their goals for events and ministry brand identity. Amongst other things, Jessica’s duties at West Ridge include graphic design, communication strategy, supervising the social media and photography teams, web management, and creating branding packages for ministries and events.
As an innovator, Jessica’s strengths lie in helping the client develop a vision and making their dreams a reality. A jack-of-all-trades, Jessica can quickly pick up new skills, think strategically, and is passionate about the intersection of creativity, technology, and sustainability. As a leader, Jessica enjoys building friendships with her teammates through close collaboration, creating an enjoyable work environment, and elevating the people around her in hopes of helping them reach their full potential.
In her free time, Jessica loves going on epic adventures around the world and experiencing new cultures while geeking out over architecture, history and museums with her husband of 15 years, Craig. She appreciates smart design, sampling new foods and coffees, championing animals and the environment, enjoying life in Cabbagetown with friends, walking her dogs on the Beltline, and is most at peace curled up on her couch watching a good international crime mystery with her cats.
